We introduce ourselves as Jaikisan.org a self
sustaining social organization. Registered under societies registration act XXI
of 1860. Jaikisan active since 2000, establishing Kisan Soochna Kendras (multi
purpose business hubs in the villages) of India. The mandate of Jaikisan.org
under an MOU with Government of Uttaranchal is to connect entire Uttaranchal
with 3000 Kisan Soochna Kendras, fully modernized and computerized till village
level. This Rural Infrastructure project with Information Technology initiative
after consolidation in Uttaranchal has now expanded to other states like
Haryana, Punjab, Himachal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, M.P, Chattisgarh,
Jharkhand, Orrisa, Bihar, UP and J&K., Bihar, UP and J&K.
The initiative is to establish an IT infrastructure based Rural Business Centers
with all the facilities and ambiance at par with business centers in cities if
nothing better. The philosophy of this investment is based on experiences of
Indian Industry and Business which could never grow in Rural India due to lack
of proper infrastructure of Roads, Hotels, Power, water or time saving air
travel. Mr. Sanjiv Sharma the visionary of the project conceives a complete ICT
infrastructure .Jaikisan.org's Kisan Soochna Kendra, Kisan Vyapaar Kendra,
Jaikisan Foods, Jaikisan Rural Tourism, Jaikisan Media, Jaikisan Human Resource
and Call centers are complete solution in this regard. This is where Jaikisan
initiative differs from any other rural initiative in the country.
A normal PC with Dialup connectivity is the basic requirement for ICT to reach
village level but this basic connectivity will remain liability for government
unless a complete two way lane is provided to industry for rural India. Hence,
this is where PIB (Public Information Booth) a proven asset, establishing
network of Kisan Soochna Kendra a self-sustainable Infrastructure.
The growth is always dependent on the direction an organization takes and this
requires partnership and associations enabling healthy ecosystem and progressive
attitude. Jaikisan.org with partnerships like State Governments, Postal
Department, State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Khadi Village Industries
Commission (KVIC), Khadi Village Industries Board (KVIB), NABARD, TERI ,

alliance to provide a solution for development and growth of "Kisan Soochna
Kendras".
Jaikisan.org's ambitious plan of establishing Kisan Soochna Kendras to reach out
to every individual to village level, establish connectivity to the remotest

We organize many programs at Kisan Soochna Kendra in order to create awareness
amongst the villagers. There are various activities to create an ecosystem in
the villages generating business for the local economy. Organizing Self help
groups to conduct businesses activities and various gram development activities
creating job opportunities and hence promote economic growth aided at the Kisan
Soochna Kendra. This tiny economy promoted by jaikisan.org is self sustaining in
nature and effectively serve the purpose of providing a fully equipped modern
center in the village. The full fledged operation employs 7 People as directly
where as in direct employment benefits are for 15 to 30.
At Every Kisan Soochna Kendra our efforts are to promote SHG based collective &
self-sustaining business operations like food processing & packaging, spice
making, collection of organic products, papad, Achars Chatni, Juices, Pulps,
Puris making etc. These products are produced Processes, Packed and Marketed by
Village based SHGs Branded as Jaikisan under strict quality control. The Brand
from Jaikisan assures consumer the trust of purity, surety with assurance of
payment and delivery. There are 9000 such SHGs in Uttaranchal linked to State
Bank of India under this scheme and growing every day. Every Kisan Soochna
Kendra is operated by three trained computer operators available from morning 8
a.m. to evening 8 p.m. working in shifts with additional support of Talking
Websites of Jaikisan call centers and Back offices conducting business even when
Kisan Soochna Kendras are not operational.
Apart from 3000 Kisan Soochana Kendra's (KSK) network in rural Uttaranchal. We
are associated with postal department to establish KSK network with post offices
creating better business opportunities aided by technology and business
structure of Jaikisan.org and its partners extending reach of Kisan Soochna
Kendra Network throughout the country Rural India as well as urban . In near
future we hope to extend our services through petrol pumps in also. This
infrastructure network is available for all Governments, Financial Institutions
and Companies interested in establishing their reach throughout the country at
the most economical cost. Sharing the benefits of modern business center without
any infrastructure or administrative costs but only paying for the utilization.

Vision
Government of India has formulated the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) with
the vision of providing all government services in an integrated manner at the
doorstep of the citizen at affordable cost. To achieve this larger mission of
the NeGP, the Department of Information & Technology (DIT), Government of India,
has planned to rollout out 100,000+ Common Services Centers (CSCs) across the
country especially in rural areas by October 2008. |
